This project was carried out in 2014 with rural women from Vargem Grande neighborhood, belonging to Barra do Chapéu - SP. Twenty women were cared for and the project lasted three months. Due to the stress lived by many of these women, the objective of the project was to use the handicraft with a therapeutic bias, creating a space of coexistence that included sharing of experience and strengthening of community identity. Because these women worked on the farm exposed to the sun, hats were handmade. The project was carried out in partnership with CRAS (Center for Reference in Social Assistance) of the municipality.
